Zakria Momand; Economic Growth and Trade Expert “Task Management” – Mr. Momand holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration. With more than 10 years of work experience under government and non-government national and international agencies, and companies in Afghanistan, he has extensive first hand exposure to the Management, policy and analytical issues surrounding Trade & economic development including exports, customs and private sector growth. Mr. Momand worked in Key positions; Deputy Team Leader, team Leader and Deputy Chief of Party with USAID and other donors in the areas of trade facilitation and Customs policies, procedures, and regional integration. He assisted the Afghan Customs Department for establishing Customs One Stop Shop at Hamid Karzai International Airport to facilitate Air-trade for Afghanistan.
As a Deputy Team Leader for USAID funded ATAR project, Mr. Momand introduced the ground breaking and innovative management tools such as the Training Assessment System (TAS) and the Workforce Productivity System (WISN). He has the honor of co-authoring the ACD Technical Training Review, the Salary Improvement Program Report and the ACD Workforce Planning and Productivity Report; all well received by the donor, USAID.
Mr. Momand exceptional presentation skills assisted ACD with the Afghanistan-Tajikistan Customs & Border Issues Conference held at Tajikistan, the ACD Public Relations at the Afghanistan Pakistan Transit Trade Agreement (APTTA), Salary Improvement Program to the Afghan High Office of Oversight and HEC committee and the plan for developing Barikab Agricultural Project to the Ministerial Board of Afghanistan.
